Arrival Transfers
For Journalists, Analysts and HP PR Hosts.

You will be met in the arrivals hall of Lisbon Portela Airport and transferred to the Corinthia Lisboa Hotel. Please look out for the person holding the HP Logo in the arrivals hall. Transfers will only take place from Lisbon Portela Airport on Monday 25th June 2007.

If you arrive prior to this date or to a different location please take a taxi. From Lisbon Portela Airport, taxis will cost approximately €35.

Breakfast Information
Breakfast is included in the daily room rate and will be taken in the Sete Colinas restaurant in the hotel.

Badges
Delegate name badges should be worn at all times. Your access to the conference area and other events will be restricted if you do not wear your delegate badge.

American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard, Visa and others are all widely accepted in Portugal, as well as Eurocheque cards. Check with your credit card company for details of merchant acceptability and other services which may be available. Credit Cards are generally not accepted in Taxis.

Dress Code
During the HP Lab University event as well as the evening events the dress code is smart casual.

Electrical Current
Electrical appliances in Portugal operate on 220 AC and the connection is made by a two-pin plug (continental style sockets), so you may need to bring an international adapter in order to use your electrical equipment as the hotels have limited numbers.

Internet access
There will be free internet access at the Corinthia Lisboa Hotel conference centre during the event (25 - 29 June). Before and after the event, you will need to purchase internet access.
The hotel rooms have fast internet access. The cost of using internet in the rooms is of €20 for 24 hours.

Portugal time is Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

Meals
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided from Tuesday 26th June until Friday 29th June. Breakfast and lunch will always take place in the Sete Colinas restaurant in the hotel. Dinner on the Monday night will be held in the Corinthia hotel. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday dinners will be offsite.

Passports
Non-EU passport holders are advised to contact the appropriate diplomatic or consular authorities for visa requirement details (see travel and visa).

Registration and Information Desk
After completing registration at this site you will be given access to the HP Lab University programme. After arriving at the Corinthia Hotel you will be able to register for HP Lab University at the entrance of the Conference Centre. There will also be an information desk situated in the Corinthia Hotel Conference Centre.

Smoking
Please note that smoking is not allowed in the conference centre.
